Assessment Ideas - ELA and Physics
Key ConceptsThere is a lot of overlap in conceptual ideology between science/physics and the ELA general outcome #3, talking about the management of ideas and information. Science requires students to gather information, and be able to interpret or analyze it in order to find certain results. Part of this gathering relates to "accessing information", "using a variety of resources" and "evaluating [those] resources". A big part also includes "sharing ideas and information". The assessment of these ELA qualities goes hand-in-hand with many summative performance tasks which may be asked of physics students.
